This AF-S NIKKOR Vibration Reduction Lens is fully compatible with the D1X, D1H, D100, F5, F100, N80, N75 and N65 models - and probably with other models yet to come. It has an internal vibration reduction mechanism that helps reduce blurred images due to normal hand movements. Overall, this is an extremely convenient feature for nature and sports photographers who prefer handheld camera use over tripods.
